Meet Vec

Vec is GEOforge's built-in assistant. It can explain how the product works and answer questions about your own account — your visibility trends, prompt performance, competitors, citations, and more — without you leaving the page.

Opening Vec

Vec lives behind the launcher button in the bottom-right corner of the app. Click it to open the panel; click again to close.

• Drag the panel by its header to move it out of your way.
• Use the maximize button to expand it for longer conversations, and restore to shrink it back.

Type your question in the "Ask about GEOforge…" box and press Send.

What you can ask

Vec handles two kinds of questions:

• How the product works — "How do I approve a draft?", "What does the Signal column mean?" Vec answers from the GEOforge help documentation.
• About your account — "How has my Share of Voice moved this month?", "Which competitors show up most in my prompts?", "What are my top citations?" For these, Vec looks up live data for your active brand — visibility trends, prompt performance, competitor comparisons, citation stats, recent activity, tracked entities, and goals — and answers from what it finds.

Vec's answers are self-serve. There's no human handoff — it's an assistant, not a live-support queue.

Conversations and history

Each chat is saved so you can pick it back up later.

• New starts a fresh conversation.
• History lists your past conversations by title and date. If you work across several brands, each conversation is tagged with the brand it was about.
• You can delete any past conversation from the history list.

Helping Vec improve

Every answer has 👍 / 👎 buttons. Rating an answer tells us where Vec is helpful and where it needs work — it doesn't change the current reply.

Vec on the dashboard

Beyond answering questions, Vec surfaces things worth your attention on the dashboard. When you're setting up a new brand, Vec can also guide you through onboarding step by step.
