One shows you the score.

The quick take

What each tool actually does

Both are entering the same space — but from very different angles and with very different capabilities today.

GEOforge
Built to get your brand cited — and keep it there.
GEOforge is a full execution platform: it monitors your AI visibility, ingests your proprietary knowledge into a grounded knowledge base (BaseForge), writes and publishes GEO content grounded in that knowledge (ContentForge), and actively builds citations (CiteForge). Create is $350/mo per brand, Dominate $695/mo. Enterprise/Agency plans and Managed Services are priced on request. 14-day free trial, full platform, no credit card.
  • BaseForge — ingests calls, docs, SME content, product data for high information gain content
  • 50 grounded pages/month on Create, 100 on Dominate, unlimited on Enterprise — no credit metering
  • CiteForge — active citation outreach, reference network building, impact tracking
  • Tracks ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode with competitor benchmarking
  • Google Ads + LinkedIn Ads managed alongside GEO by Hop AI, a Google Partner agency
HubSpot AEO
A monitoring layer inside a much larger CRM platform.
Launched April 2026 and now generally available, HubSpot AEO tracks brand visibility across ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity and surfaces prioritised recommendations. Since June 2026 it can also turn a flagged gap into a Breeze-drafted blog post in one click, opened in the HubSpot blog editor for review. At $50/mo standalone — $45 on annual — it is the cheapest credible entry point in the category, and for a HubSpot shop the CRM context is a real advantage.
  • Clean dashboard with brand visibility score and sentiment analysis
  • CRM-powered prompt suggestions (Marketing Hub Pro/Enterprise only)
  • ~ One-click Breeze blog drafts from flagged gaps — Content Hub required, drafts only
  • ~ Citation analysis shows what AI is reading — but no outreach or reference building
  • No knowledge base ingestion; three chat engines only, no Google AI Overviews or AI Mode

What you actually pay

The real cost comparison

On paper, $50 vs $350 looks decisive. But it only works as a comparison if the two tools are solving the same problem — and they're not. One finds the gap and drafts a post about it. The other grounds that content in knowledge only you have, then goes and builds the citations.

Which one is right for you?

Honest fit guide

Both tools have a real role in the market. The question is which one matches your actual goal right now.

Choose GEOforge if…
You want content grounded in knowledge only you have — customer calls, SME expertise, product data — not drafted from the same public web every competitor can read.
Google's AI surfaces matter to your buyers. AI Overviews and AI Mode are where most of the volume is, and HubSpot doesn't track either.
You need citation outreach: actively building the third-party reference network that makes LLMs trust and cite your brand.
You're a B2B brand in a competitive category where being cited in AI answers is a genuine revenue lever, not a vanity metric.
You want a published, flat price you can budget against — $350/mo on Create or $695/mo on Dominate, with a 14-day free trial before you commit.
Consider HubSpot AEO if…
You're already on Marketing Hub Pro or Enterprise — AEO is included and worth activating as a baseline.
You want a $50/mo starting point to understand your current AI visibility before committing to a full programme.
Perplexity and Gemini matter more to your buyers than Google's AI Overviews and AI Mode.
You're on Content Hub and want blog drafts generated straight from the gaps AEO flags, with your own editors finishing them.
You want to run the free 28-day trial as a diagnostic before deciding what level of investment makes sense.
